Swollen Members - Warrior (MUSIC VIDEO)

Swollen Members Overcome Drug Addiction, Legal Problems and Labels Collapsing To Record New Album "Armed To The Teeth" Featuring La Coka Nostra, Talib Kweli, and Tech N9NE.

The group has also announced a US tour in support of their new album, “Armed To The Teeth”, alongside Big B, Common Market and Bliss N Eso.

“We’re excited to hit the road and share these songs with fans,” says Madchild. “It’s been a long time since we’ve done a headlining US tour and now we can finally play a full Swollen Members set for fans .”

Swollen Members are currently gearing up for the release of their new studio album “Armed To The Teeth” which lands in stores October 13th, 2009 through Suburban Noize Records and Battle Axe Records. The album is a snapshot of the trials and tribulations the group endured during the past two years, including Mad Child’s battle with drug addiction, the collapse of their former record label and the legal troubles that plagued the group throughout the recording process. The album features guest appearances by La Coka Nostra, Talib Kweli, and Tech N9NE

Big B's new album "American Underdog" has quickly become the feel good hit of the summer, while his new single “Sinner”, featuring Scott Russo from Unwritten Law, is blowing up on radio stations across the country. Big B’s eclectic mixture of alt-rock, hip-hop and rock grooves has earned him comparisons to Everlast, and the laid back vibrations of Sublime. The Las Vegas heavyweight has been touring non-stop since the album's release and shows no signs of slowing down.

In the brief time since Common Market dropped their extraordinary debut album, the duo has gathered praise as Seattle Weekly’s 2006 Best New Artist, and performing slots on grand stages such as Sasquatch Festival and The Capitol Hill Block Party. They have shared the stage with the likes of KRS-One, Zion I, Ghostface Killah, and The Coup. The album’s regional success, along with the rising tidal wave of Northwest hip-hop, has poised the group for a serious push into the national scene.

Australian hip-hop heavyweights Bliss n Eso are set to bring their highly acclaimed live show to 15 cities across the USA. The past year has seen Bliss n Eso propel from underground superstars to the top of Australia's thriving music scene through the release of their third full-length LP, "Flying Colors". It was the country's highest selling hip-hop album of 2008 and won the ARIA Award (Australian GRAMMY equivalent) for the year's Best Urban Release as well as being only the 2nd Australian hip-hop album to ever achieve Gold sales status.
